SPARK Strategic Ideas refreshes brand identity for LiteSource
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 18, 2019) – LiteSource LLC (LiteSource), an independent lighting manufacturers’ sales representative agency, has partnered with SPARK Strategic Ideas (SPARK), a local Charlotte agency, for a strategic rebrand, website design and marketing collateral.
As part of the rebranding process, SPARK interviewed LiteSource employees and customers to conduct a full strategic internal and external analysis of the company in early 2018. SPARK then used the research findings to create a refreshed brand identity, including the development of a new logo, mission statement, tagline and core values.
“It has been a joy to collaborate with a dynamic, growing company like LiteSource that is interested in looking beyond just managing the bottom line to invest in growing the top line,” said Robin Foster, director of strategy and brand development for SPARK. “It takes a good dose of courage to take an honest look at your brand and invest in making it relevant to today’s customers. It’s hard work, but the results are worth it.”
With the new brand identity, SPARK created stationery, business cards, letterhead, and envelopes along with a brand standards guide for LiteSource. SPARK also launched a reskin of LiteSource’s existing website to reflect this new identity on Mar. 4, 2019.
“LiteSource is on a significant growth trajectory. In the past five years we’ve nearly tripled our staff, and we have increased our capabilities and roster of lighting manufacturers. After 18 years of operation, we felt it was the right time to consider our brand and refresh it to better reflect who we are today. SPARK dug in deep to help us with this process. So far, the response to our new brand has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Kyle Rogers, LiteSource president and principal.
SPARK is currently working on designing new sales collateral pieces for LiteSource, plans to redo the full website and incorporate other marketing elements into the brand, such as social media, in the near future.
