How we got our SPARK

Girl spends ten years in big ad agencies. Earns her badges. Saw a lot of smoke. So, she takes to the hills (Chapel Hill) and comes down knowing there is a smarter way to build it. With better tools she sees the value in a lighter backpack. Fresh kindling. Same passion…and so it began. SPARK. Then she became we and grew to a troop. Strategic. Agile. Smart cookies.

Who We Are

SPARK, a strategic branding firm, specializes in strategic planning, marketing, advertising, design, public relations, digital/web and social media. Since we were founded in 2008, we’ve prided ourselves on being straight-shooters. We say what should be said versus what others want to hear. We won’t overpromise. And we will always strive to overdeliver. 

Awards? Yeah, we have them. But we don’t consider that the primary indicator of success. Our goal as an agency is to change lives through growing our clients and creating a work environment that inspires employees to do their best. 

From our beginnings in a coffee shop, our founder had a dream of creating a different kind of agency. An agency that…
