SPARK provides grand opening support for Studio Movie Grill

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 19, 2019) – SPARK Strategic Ideas (SPARK), a full-service strategic branding agency, welcomes Studio Movie Grill (SMG) to their client portfolio. SMG, who modernized the traditional movie-going experience with in-theater dining, hired SPARK to assist with the launch of their second Charlotte location. SPARK will be handling strategic planning, marketing, advertising and public relations for the opening of SMG Prosperity Village.

SMG is the original first-run, in-theater dining concept that revolutionized the theater-going experience. Having first opened their doors in Texas in 1998, SMG has now grown to 34 locations across ten states including Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia. Providing guests with an elevated experience, SMG moviegoers can enjoy the newest movies, made-to-order food and premium drinks, all while relaxing in a luxury recliner. SMG is also a conscious business with multiple programs to support underserved children and nonprofits in the Charlotte community.

To assist with the launch of this new theater, SPARK was brought on to provide support for the grand opening in December and continue outreach through January. SPARK developed a strategic plan to increase brand awareness in Charlotte through media outreach and influencer campaigns along with other public relations efforts. In addition, SPARK  is providing local public relations, event planning, media planning and buying, and community outreach support to help tell the narrative of how SMG is supporting the local community.
