SPARK Strategic Ideas Finds Perfect Fit with New Hire and New Client

SPARK adds a new business developer to the team and KASHIYAMA the Smart Tailor to their client portfolio

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (August 19, 2019) – Kelly Lynn joins SPARK Strategic Ideas (SPARK), a Charlotte-based strategic branding agency, as new business developer. This is the first-ever hire for this newly created agency role. SPARK also welcomes a new client, KASHIYAMA The Smart Tailor (KST), to their company list. Japan’s top made-to-measure suit brand that recently expanded into the U.S. hired SPARK to spearhead local public relations efforts for the Charlotte market as well as create a media kit for the company.

Prior to joining SPARK,  Lynn worked as the director of development for Supportive Housing Communities, a nonprofit organization driven to end homelessness in Charlotte. As new business developer at SPARK, Lynn will work on identifying new business targets, generating leads, networking, writing proposals and onboarding new clients. With a strong background in sales, business development and marketing, Lynn will be responsible for building essential relationships within the Charlotte community and connecting with new client prospects on a local, regional and national scale.

“Our agency has seen immense growth over the years, and we are not stopping now,” said Anne Marie Holder, CEO of SPARK. “For over a decade, SPARK has provided marketing and branding expertise to a variety of clients and we have developed a strong approach to creative strategy that yields results. I look forward to tag-teaming with Kelly on our new business outreach and continuing to grow our client portfolio. Speaking of which, we are also very excited to now be working with KASHIYAMA to help launch their brand in the Charlotte market.”

KST is a made-to-measure menswear brand known for their quality, design and value that first launched in 2017. In 2018, the company expanded into the U.S. market by opening up showrooms in WeWork co-working buildings across the country. Having recently opened a fitting studio in Charlotte, KST hired SPARK to serve as their local public relations partner. SPARK will be responsible for developing a strategic plan to increase brand awareness in Charlotte through media and influencer outreach along with other public relations efforts.

In addition to public relations, SPARK also specializes in strategic brand planning, advertising, design, social media, digital services and media planning and buying.
