Charlotte agency presented with prestigious award at national ceremony
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 29, 2015) – SPARK Strategic Ideas (Spark) received a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence at the 2015 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) ceremony for their work on the pre-opening campaign for SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium. This national award event honors agencies and organizations that achieve the highest standard of performance in the field of public relations.
For the award entry, SPARK outlined their process and the results achieved throughout an intensive six-month campaign to raise public awareness for the opening of SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium. The pre-opening strategy centered around five major milestone events leading up to the grand opening in 2014.
SPARK representatives traveled to New York City to attend this year’s Silver Anvil Awards Ceremony and received an Award of Excellence in the “Events and Observances – Over Seven Days” category. In this specific category, SPARK was in the company of several nationally recognized brands including Allstate and MasterCard.
