SPARK Strategic Ideas Connects with Industry Leader in Infrastructure Services

Strategic brand planning strengthens Aptus’ brand identity of connection to people and the utilities they rely on daily

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 26, 2021) – SPARK Strategic Ideas (SPARK) has partnered with Aptus, the industry leader in the installation of bridge-attached utilities, on several branding and marketing initiatives. Aptus selected SPARK to lead a strategic brand development process and create a marketing plan for organizational initiatives. In addition, SPARK also developed a new website for the company that launched on Sept. 7.

SPARK began working on brand planning with Aptus in April 2020. The agency’s team conducted extensive research including employee interviews, an audit of marketing materials, client interviews and brand analyses of their competitors. Once the research was complete, SPARK worked with Aptus leaders and their employees on its brand development platform, including drafting a new mission statement and defining Aptus’ core values.

“At Aptus, we’ve always known our strength to be the connections we make with people and to the nation’s infrastructure that we service; however, with the help of SPARK, we were able to refine our brand to reflect who we truly are as a company,” said Scott T. Dill, Chief Executive Officer at Aptus.

Once the brand planning process was complete, SPARK developed a new company website that highlights Aptus’ messaging and core values through language that is more approachable in tone and visuals that are more people-focused and impactful. A strategic marketing plan and recommendations for initiatives to implement is in progress.
